Veronica is a truly incredible woman from North Carolina. She is full of energy and the perfect example of a person with no fear. Bungee jumping, ice diving, skydive have no secrets for her.
Underwater modelling was still missing though.
A simple google search was enough for her to find out about our work. She compared our packages and our quality with the offers she had found in the US for underwater photoshoots in a pool. 15 days later she was in Mexico for a short vacation, focused on the UW shooting in a cenote.
And that’s what she wrote on her Facebook profile when she published “our” photos.
A few weeks ago while in Playa del Carmen I had the opportunity to have an underwater portrait taken at Cenote Keh-Bolah. I’ve wanted an underwater photo for a while but photographers that capture underwater photos are few and far between. It was simply luck that I was in Mexico the week that Sebi and his team were available. Sebi Messina and his crew were awesome and patient as I kept turning and swimming in the wrong direction in the water. Here are a few of the photos.

Amazing Experience
I am neither a bride to be nor a model but I really wanted an underwater portrait. I am so thankful that a simple Google search led me to Sebi. The entire process was amazing. Sebi recommended colours that would compliment my complexion in an underwater photo. We communicated several times prior to the session so I felt extremely comfortable the morning we met.
First, if you are even thinking about having a photo done is a pool, please DON’T. The Cenotes are AMAZING and the naturally beautiful backgrounds are breathtaking. The water is clear and my eyes didn’t burn AT ALL.
The entire session I felt like I was playing in the water. Sebi was extremely patient with me as I had a difficult time staying vertical underwater. The session was not rushed at all and we took breaks as needed.
I was a little nervous about how the photo would look as I am a plus-size woman with kinky hair. Sebi showed me a few of the untouched photos in his camera and I couldn’t believe how beautiful they looked. However, I was completely blown away after receiving the photos two days ago.
My biggest problem is determining which photo to have framed. Sebi is absolutely amazing at capturing perfect moments and bringing them to life.
I will definitely be using his services again.
